So it seems that we have been super quiet over here on Carl Bird Ltd’s blog page as we have been working hard behind the scenes, however we will be making more of an effort to keep the blog page updated of all things happening here at Carl Bird Ltd.

For our first post in a slightly long time, we are pleased to announce that Carl Bird Ltd has recently become a CHAS certified contractor showing that we are complaint throughout all areas of our business which we are very proud of.

We are working towards adding a few more strings to our bow so please watch this space for more upcoming announcements….

Earlier on this month, not one but two of the Carl Bird team took on two very different but equally challenging events!!

First up was, Stephen Buxton our contracts waste manager who cycled with his friend Maggie all the way from London to Paris. The pair put in an amazing amount training for many weeks in preparation for this huge undertaking and completed the challenge with massive smiles upon their faces. All of the money they have raised is being donated to Cancer Research UK.

Next up was our office manager Amii Andrews along with her mum Dianne Bird (Carl’s wife) who took on the fantastic Skyscrapper challenge in London. This involved climbing 1,092 stairs to the top as quickly as possible and abseiling down the Leadenhall building. Both Amii and Dianne completed the challenge in record time. Together they have raised money for the charity Tommys.

From all of us here at Carl Bird, we would like to say a huge well done to them all 🙂
